The Gion Festival

Octopus Festival

It is held on the second Saturday of every Julys.

A god Dragon [sea god] gives us rich fishing and the safty of the sea.

This festival has a history of more than 250years.      

The Octopus Festival will be held on August twelfth every year.

For The lead octopus of Himaka Island, we thanks with this festival.

We have had dolphins for seven years during summer
season.

We haven't decided about this year yet .

We do our best to keep the island beautiful nature for living with fish.
